Launching over the Christmas period, the DJ Santa Dash was a creative live sampling activation and PR stunt for Reese’s chocolate. Our festive mission? To make sure Reese’s iconic DJ Santa was the only name on Gen Z’s lips at Christmas.
We took care of various moving parts, from the recruitment of a DJ Santa and sourcing Santa’s motorbike and sidecar, to planning locations, wrapping presents, managing cash prizes and event management for photo shoots.
Our job was to deliver our client’s concept. Our brief was to implement a multi-sensory activation, to engage Gen Z audiences and encourage brand participation. We know that what makes Gen Zs tick is the experience. So we made sure we delivered an activation that was an experience to remember.
So, how did we do it? In an ‘anything but ordinary’ way of course…
The DJ Xmas Santa Dash centred around a 5 day activation experience in London, with our very own DJ Santa rocking-up at iconic landmarks…
Obviously, DJ Santa wouldn’t ride a regular sleigh. And this is where the HEL’s magic came in! Our elves pulled out all the stops. They made sure Santa rocked-up in style – on a fully branded Triumph and sidecar, pumping out festive tunes from our Spotify ‘Naughty but Nice’ playlist.
In the spirit of Christmas, DJ Santa arrived with a sack, stuffed with wrapped gifts and Reese’s treats. But that’s not all! Everyone who received a present from DJ Santa’s sack, got the chance to win an extra £100 cash prize!
We also provided a videographer to film DJ Santa around different locations, creating live content for PR and social.
