What do you get if you combine Ardbeg’s new Wee Beastie whisky and a love of B-movie monsters? A monstrously fabulous experiential sampling activation of course, complete with custom-made costumes and delicious door-step cocktails showcasing the newest expression from the brand.
Our team took on the task of creating a set of frightening costumes, supported a series of bone-chilling photo shoots and coordinated 31 unforgettable home delivery experiences across 3 cities (all during covid restrictions) to make this vision a reality.
To celebrate the launch of Ardbeg’s latest expression, Wee Beastie, The Persuaders tasked us to create a host of monstrous costumes inspired by cult B-movies to align with Ardbeg’s ‘it’s a monster of a dram’ tagline and raise awareness of their new tipple.
Photoshoot with 5 staff in bespoke costumes created and designed by us across London, Manchester, and Edinburgh. A couple of weeks later we sent out 2x cocktail bartenders in costume to deliver bespoke night-in kits and door-step cocktails to competition winners across 3 live days in London, Manchester, and Edinburgh. Our team set to work to create a set of five costumes, each frighteningly monstrous and instantly recognisable as the characters from well-loved B-movies. Having designed the beastly creations, we tasked our costume designers to bring them to life.
We played an instrumental role in multiple nighttime photoshoots to capture the ghastliness of the characters and showcase the new whisky for use in the product’s launch campaign across multiple media platforms.
Navigating Covid-19 restrictions across three cities we facilitated the delivery of bespoke movie night-in kits where our costumed bartenders whipped up doorstep cocktails using the new Wee Beastie whisky to bring the product to life for the competition winners and Ardbeg fans.
